Spirit of 45 kick-off at Chennault
Keep the Spirit of 45 Alive has kicked off their international campaign to bring back the post war patriotism present in the United States after World War II ended. The kick-off started on December 20th of 1941 at Chennault Aviation & Military Museum in Monroe, LA. This significant date was the first victory in WWII by General Claire Chennault and the Flying Tigers. War Veterans and dignitaries were joined by the public at a flyover featuring three WWII planes. The Spirit of 45 celebration of the end of WWII will happen on August 14th, 2014, celebrating the 70th anniversary of the end of WWII.
